Thank You Cards Inspire Giver And Receiver

It’s Monday afternoon.  You’re sitting at your desk trying to shake off the “Monday blues”.  You think to yourself, “The weekend just wasn’t long enough.”  It seemed like all you did was drive the kids around; to their little league sporting events, the mall and to their friend’s house for a sleepover.

You drive home tired and as you walk into the house something on the table catches your eye.  It’s a card from your kids saying how much they appreciate you!

Thank you cards can put the wind right back in your sail; they can help you keep doing all the hard work all over again.

Giving that thank you card did something good for your kids too.  First, they realized how much you did (and do) for them.  That creates awareness for others.  It helps them learn to take the focus off themselves and turn it toward someone else.

Second, it gives them an opportunity to exercise the act of giving to others; to express gratitude.  We all know how good it feels to give something to someone.  I bet your kids felt good at the idea of giving you that card, even better creating it and just super knowing it would make you feel loved and appreciated.

Maybe we should all practice a little more giving starting with something simple like thank you cards.  Cards are really easy to come by today.  You can fine ecards or printable cards online.  Both of these options can be completely customizable when you visit Modern Greetings.

There are many different occasions when you can give a thank you card.  Of course, there is the above example, but there are several others too and I will list a few for you so it can help get your creative juices flowing.

  • Wedding thank you card
  • Graduation gift thank you card
  • Business thank you card
  • Birthday gift thank you card
  • Baby shower thank you card
  • Party host thank you card

The possibilities to give a thank you card are endless.  If you get stuck just think about a few things that you might be grateful for and see who you can thank for those things.  I’m sure you will be able to come up with at least a couple of people probably more.

Once you have in mind who will get a card you can go online for further help if you need it.  There are websites that can even help you with thank you sayings.  They even have tons of sample thank you cards to view so you have a lot of great ideas for creating greeting cards.

Creating your card will make it even more meaningful to both the giver and receiver.  You can add some very personal touches to your card, like a photo  that is significant to either one (or both) of you.

You can have your card be a certain design that reflects your personality so there will be no mistaking who gave it.  You see, there are many ways to personalize your card to make it really special to you both.

However you decide to send them or how they are designed or whatever photo you choose to use; just sending thank you cards will create smiles and happy hearts…in both the giver and receiver.
